A Study on the Current Status of Education for Health Informatics Curriculum at College of Korean Medicine

Abstract
In this study, the current status of the health informatics curriculum in the College of Korean Medicine was investigated, and the direction of the health informatics education for Korean medicine was proposed. With the advent of the 4th industrial revolution, the health informatics of Korean medicine courses became essential for the informatization and industrialization of the field of medicine. In spite of the necessity and importance of the times, the health informatics courses at the College of Korean Medicine are insufficient, and only three universities are implementing the health informatics courses at the pre-course level. Hence, it is urgent to expand the health informatics curriculum. To this end, it is necessary to establish a new educational direction for health informatics education at the College of Korean Medicine and prepare for society; the competencies required for health informatics in the future should be derived through continuous discussion.
